My name is Emily Addair, and I'm a Junior at Apex High School graduating in 2024. I've played soccer since I was six years old. I've played club soccer for the last nine years. Recently I've played at the NPL, DPL and GA team levels. I have played as forward nearly my entire ten years, but have also played as a defender (who liked to score goals) and even goalie for a bit.
My happy place is on the soccer field! I love to play the game as much as I can. I play aggressively when on the field (I love to make the other team's goalie scared when I'm around). I've been traveling for soccer for the last 2 years and the experience has really made me grow as an athlete and person. I'm looking forward to continuing my soccer career by playing for a highly competitive college team who loves the sport (and takes it as seriously) as I do.
Academically, I work very hard to balance my soccer with school grades. I currently take several honors courses including Math, Civics, English, Science and Spanish. I am interested in pursuing Sports Medicine as my major in college. I also love to cook (and it's my plan "B") but culinary schools don't typically have soccer programs.
Thank you for taking a look at my profile.
