Wanting to play soccer started for me at the age of three, when my brother was old enough to play, but I wasn't. So I had to wait a year, but surely a year later I still wanted to play and did, and I've loved playing the sport ever since. Soccer has always been a huge part of my life, considering I play year round and spend all my time with my teammates. Soccer has influenced my life by making me extremely social, I play a lot of pickup soccer so I meet new people all the time, and now I have so many friends in the soccer community my parents say that I know at least one person everywhere we go, even if it's a few hours away. It's taught me to be the bigger person sometimes, and to leave things on the field.
Soccer has played a huge role in my life so far, and I don't want that to stop just because I'm growing up. I've always wanted to play collegiate soccer, even if I'm not always sure about what I want to major in, soccer has always been something I'm sure of. I'm a very versatile player, I can play any position including goalie, I've learned that you have to make sacrifices for your team even if it's playing in goal the whole game when you don't want to. I hope to find a team that I can impact and can impact me too.
