Melina Sanguine '26 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old. Ever since I started playing I knew that I wanted to play soccer in a high level college program with both rigorous and competitive academics and athletics. I have an amazingly positive and encouraging attitude both on and off the field. I'm a great, supportive, and motivating teammate and classmate. I have very fast and technical feet that allow me to play calmly under pressure, in and around tight spaces, winning 1v1s and 2v1s, and getting out of crowded spaces or when I am pinned up against the sideline. I have great vision that allows me to see when to break the opponents back line by playing dangerous through balls or long balls and being able to recognize when we need to switch the points of attack. I have a high soccer IQ that allows me to recognize situations quickly and efficiently and playing based on what that situation needs. I have great accuracy allowing me to place shots low and hard or high and tight or passes to feet or into the space where my teammate will end up if it is a long ball/through ball. I also have great stamina and I will always leave everything out on the field for my team and my teammates and I never give up on my teammates or my team.
