Hi, my name is Genesis Mark. My overall goal in life has always been to be successful. I keep Christ at the center of everything I do, for my faith/religion is a huge aspect of my life. I have a strong drive behind everything I do. If I have my mind set on accomplishing something, I will do everything in my power to get it done.
I’ve been playing soccer since I was about 7 years old. I started off playing recreationally and then I moved into club around the age of 11. I have always had a strong love for soccer. My biggest advocates for me being successful in soccer, as well as life, would have to be my dad, Phillip Mark, and my coach, Quinton Hurdle. They both push me to be the best player I can be, on and off the field. For that, I am forever grateful.
Aside from soccer, I also take my academics very serious. I maintain a 4.0 GPA while participating in multiple extracurriculars, including soccer and church activities. I strive to be the best student I can be in and out the classroom. I also take the opportunity to help my peers with their schoolwork, since I am more advanced than most of my graduating class.
Last but certainly not least, my Christianity is a huge part of my life. God is and will always be my #1 priority. He is the center of all decisions I make and I could not see my life without Him. I value my faith and would never be ashamed to state my belief in Christ.
I believe I would be the perfect fit for any college‘s women soccer program because I have leadership qualities on and off the field. I won’t just push my teammates to be great players. I will also push them to be better people!
