Mikaela Rossi '23 Recruiting Profile

I started playing soccer when I was four years old. From the first time I touched a soccer ball, I knew that I wanted to play at the next level. It has always been a dream of mine to continue my soccer career in college. I'm a hard worker and natural-born leader. On the field, I feel that I have a better overall understanding of the game than others. I see where the ball should go and the movements needed to be made in order to make it happen. I love how beautiful the game of soccer is. The physicality, competition, and flow of the game are my favorite things. Over the years, my coaches have continuously applauded me on my coachability and my love to learn how to better myself and my game. While soccer is extremely important to me, so is school. I have always been a straight-A student and I always work very hard to balance school and soccer. I know that without school I wouldn't be able to pursue my dreams in soccer. I am always wanting to push myself to be the best I can be in everything and anything I do. I'm going to continue working as hard as I can and can't wait to see what the future has in store for me!
