Personal Statement

Hi, my name is Abby Darragh and I am a 2025 Goalkeeper for Triangle United 07/06 GA. I started playing soccer when I was four and it is a big part of my life. My goal has always been to play at the collegiate level and I believe that I can achieve it by putting in the hard work not only in practice but in games as well. I have maintained a 3.5 GPA in school, balancing practices and school work from all my classes. On the field, I am a very hard and dedicated player. I distribute the ball well with both my hands and feet. Having a positive attitude is key to communicating with my teammates on the field in the game. I am a very coachable player and am willing to always take feedback to improve and get better. In college, I am planning to major in journalism/digital media/sports marketing. By doing this I want to have the ability to work in the sports world with all different sports.
