Hi! My name is Sadie Smith and I am currently a senior at Wake Forest High School in North Carolina. I have played soccer since I was around Four years old and have loved it since day one. At first I wasn't so sure about playing in college, but since I have been away from my soccer team and competition for so long due to Covid, I realized how much I would miss soccer. I want to play in college because since I have have moved a total of five times in my life to five different states and the only thing that has kept me sane through all of them is soccer. I have made so many friendships through soccer and find that the best place to find girls similar to me are on my soccer teams. Soccer has shaped me to be who I am today and I don't believe that I'm done with it yet.
If I were to be a part of a soccer program in college I would bring hard work and determination. I have always been competitive and am determined to get the outcome that I want. I work hard in school and soccer as well as training with speed/strength and agility coaches on the side. I would come to every practice and game ready to work hard and attempt to be ready for every obstacle thrown in our way. Communication is another attribute of what I'm willing to bring to a team whether it's about what's going on in there social life or they have a player on there back during a game.
I don't have a certain division that I am shooting for but mostly less competitive D1, D2, and more competitive D3 teams. I don't have a set location on where I'd like to attend college but I prefer East Coast or Texas. I am aiming for a school with medium to higher enrollment, but wouldn't mind looking in the direction of a smaller school either.
