Hello, my name is Lilian Houser and I am interested in playing soccer at a collegiate level. I have been playing soccer since I was three years old and it has become my passion. I play for Freedom Soccer Club in Columbus, Ohio in the Midwestern Regional League and I played varsity soccer for Thomas Worthington High School. I am also participating in the Ohio South ODP program. I am an outside forward and I would make a good candidate for your team because of my speed, footskills and crossing abilities. I am a good box to box player because of my endurance. This endurance allows me to take players on 1v1 down the line throughout the game. I am good at following directions from not only my coaches, but my teammates as well, because it is important to work hard and improve for them. Hard work doesn't only apply on the field for me though. I take academics very seriously and hope to become an engineer. I am currently at Thomas Worthington High School but I am transferring to the Columbus School for Girls for a greater academic opportunity. I currently participate in the STEM engineering class at my school and am joining the Robotics Club. Because I take athletics and academics seriously I am hoping to find a college that will challenge me in both aspects of my life. Outside of soccer and school I am a lifeguard and a Special Olympics soccer coach for Franklin County. I also enjoy spending my time with my Christian Youth ministry, skiing, and hiking.
