Caitlyn Sinda '22 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to attend a university where I can excel academically and play soccer at a high level. 

As a freshman, I was a starter for my High School team. I finished the season with the most goals and assists and won the MVP Award. I am respected by my peers and coaches and I enjoy the friendships I have formed through school and sports. During my sophomore year, I volunteered as a unified player on my High School’s Special Olympics soccer team. Special Olympics taught me a lot about myself, soccer, and how the game extends so much further than just the field. It brings people together, teaches self-discipline and sportsmanship, and forces you to step outside yourself for the betterment of the team and the experience. The encouragement and support within this athletic community is certainly amazing.

Up until February 2020 I played with Ajax SC and helped my team win many tournaments including the Ontario Indoor Cup in 2018 & 2019. Now, I currently play as a Winger and Striker for Unionville-Milliken SC in League 1 Ontario Reserve. I work hard to be an important asset to any team that I play for. I’d like to continue to improve and develop my game in hopes of turning my passion into a career.
