Jessalynn Hill '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jessalynn (Jess) and I play for the 2001 Paris Redblacks girls soccer team(formerly Woolwich Wolfpack).  I've been playing since I was very young and began playing rep when I was 8 on a U9 team.  I have always played a year up.

As a player I think my best skills are my passing, speed, first touch and ability to play with both feet.  I've been told I see the field well and that I play a simple, keep possession don't force the ball type of game.  I've also been told that I am selfless on the field, sometimes to a fault, which I am working on.  Coaches would say I am very coachable as I do my best to combine coaches instructions with my own style of play.

As well as soccer, I am also very focused on school. As a student I work hard to excel in all my classes and pick up on new concepts quickly. At school I also take part in extra-curricular activities and make sure to balance both my studies and sports.

My goal is for soccer to get me into a school that reaches my educational goals while also allowing me to play the game I love.
