My name is Kaylee McCullough, I am 17 years old, 5’8” 110 lb and a very driven goalkeeper. I am a 2022 graduate but I will be taking a gap year to continue my studies as well as train and play soccer as much as I can to advance, and increase my skill level. I am looking to attend post-secondary studies in 2023. During my first year of high school I was a starter for the girls varsity team and led the team to many victories, including 1st place at WOSSAA and 3rd place at OFSAA. I have been playing soccer ever since I was three years old, I was put in net as my position and since then I have fallen in love with goalkeeping. I am a very determined and hard-working player, I strive to be the best I can and push myself more and more each day. Soccer has been my number one my whole life, it has helped me get through difficult situations in life and even helped me dicover myself. I have grown immensely in my communication skills and have become a very outgoing person thanks to being on the field and getting to meet many different players. Being a goalkeeper tends to put a lot of pressure on me but in my many years of playing, I have learned to work with that and now work very well under pressure. Soccer has taught me a lot of things about the world and myself, it has driven me to be more determined and focused. These skills have transferred over to my academic career and made me want to push myself in school and try to get the best possible grades. Going forward I look to do my absolute best and improve greatly, to hopefully one day go pro.
