Soccer is my passion, it's my life! I have aspirations of becoming an amazing collegiate soccer player and am working hard at fulfilling that once in a lifetime dream.
I am a tough athlete, with great endurance, discipline and dedication. I am serious about the game and my education and I know what it takes to be successful. I'm no slacker, I like challenge and to be pushed to the limit. My coaches tell me I'm coachable, versatile, a team player, leader and a quick learner.
I have participated at the provincial level in Ontario as I was selected for the past 3 years in a row for the provincial program and was one of the last players in the recognizing for a REX spot prior to the collapse of the program here in Ontario.
At school, I am an honour student, a team leader ( captained the team at school and club), known for being kind, generous and involved in many sports and community events.
I have numerous athletic and academic merit awards thru 2013-2016. My GPA is 3.5. I am bilingual ( in French and English) and currently taking Spanish too. I have 114 community volunteer hours and adding to those hours on a yearly basis.
I have had to learn to overcome challenges and obstacles in my life which have made me a stronger person and soccer player. My mother battled cancer for the past 6 years and unfortunately lost her battle December 27, 2016. Having to keep my grades up at the high level they are and playing soccer at the highest level were not easy as I watched my mother go through Chemo treatments and then passing away recently. My mother pushed me to be the best that I can be. She would tell me all the time that you will face difficulties, you will have walls to climb, you will have obstacles to go around but never give up. Climb that wall, tackle the obstacles head on, never give up and be the best that you can be. I live and play by her words everyday and will for the rest of my life to make my mother proud of me.
Ultimately I am looking to play soccer for a highly ranked university at the highest level of competition ( Div1), become a role model, lead by example and make my teammates, coaches, teachers and parents proud!
