Hello, my name is Callie Slightham and I am excited to be looking into the next steps of my academic and soccer playing life. Soccer has played a big role for me as many of my closest friendships have come from the soccer community. Currently, I am a student at Havergal College in Toronto and am graduating in 2026. Academically, I maintain an Honor Roll status while actively fulfilling numerous leadership roles throughout my school's community. From a young age, I've played various sports, yet soccer has always held a special place in my heart. In Canada, high school soccer is not as strong as club soccer, with the best coaching and competition at the club level. With my height advantage, center back became my natural position, allowing me to leverage my speed and unwavering passion for the game. Soccer isn't just a pastime for me; it's a way of life that has taught me such valuable lessons in teamwork, time management and maintaining a resilient mindset both on and off the field. My journey at Havergal College has further nurtured these qualities, shaping me into a dedicated student-athlete who thrives in challenging environments. Looking ahead, I am eager to continue my soccer career, driven by the belief that the sport not only strengthens my athletic abilities but also enhances my overall personal development.
