Mackenzie Cosh '23 Recruiting Profile

I am the captain of the U17 Ottawa Gloucester Regional Girls' team and also a member on the OGHS University Showcase invitational team. My primary position is center back but I can  play anywhere across the back line as well as center midfield.  Some of my key technical skills are my speed and physicality, vision for penetrating passes, controlling aerial balls, free kicks (on net, to feet or in the air), quick decision making and long balls to feet and to space. Some of my other mentionable attributes are my high work ethic, coachability and leadership on and off the field. I am a recent 2021 Ontario Cup Provincial Champion and Eastern Regional League Champion (12-0-0, 50xGF & 2xGA. ) I currently have a 93% average from my grade 10 year, and continually working hard to maintain my 90+ average.  I am looking to play NCAA D1 or D2 collegiate level soccer while studying my desired program, Health/Sports Science (Or Kinesiology).
