Personal Statement

I'm a strong, skilled and game changing center midfielder from Sarnia, Ontario in Canada.

  • I began playing soccer at the age of four. From the beginning, I felt the love and passion for this sport and it just become part of me and my daily life.
  • Soccer is in my blood, both my mom Pauline, and my dad Jim,  played in college and continue to play and coach presently. They have inspired myself as well as my two younger siblings to play this beautiful game.
  • Playing my youth soccer on a competitive boys team challenged me technically, physically, and intellectually, and made me a better, faster and smarter player.
  • My personality traits include being fun, outgoing and being driven to succeed no matter what the task is.
  • In my free time, I enjoy cross fit training, running, skiing, paddle boarding, reading and being outdoors.
  • Spending time with my family and friends is very important to me as well as being an active member of our Greek church youth group and  participant in our Greek dance group.
  • My other passions include playing high school varsity basketball and competing on my school's track and field team.

Player Profile:

I have also just recently been accepted into the Canadian Women's National Development Centre (NDC) in Toronto, where I will train with the best 14-18 year old female players in the province.  I also play my club soccer with the 2006 Michigan Hawks U17G team in the very competitive ECNL league.

  • Previously, I played five seasons for the London Whitecaps club in the Ontario Player Development League (OPDL), the highest amateur league in Ontario.
  • In 2022 I was named to the U16G Ontario Provincial Team and have been invited to the Canadian Women's National Development Centre final ID Combine (formerly the REX Excel Program), to be assessed for a full time NDC enrollment.
  • In 2021, as a 15 year old, I finished in the top 10 in league scoring in the U17G OPDL division.
  • In 2019, as a 13 year old, I was named to the U14G Ontario Provincial Team.

  • My player traits on the soccer field can be described as being:
  • - A dominant center midfielder, who leads on both sides of the ball and focuses on dictating the course of play.
  • - Having incredible foot skills with great composure on the ball, and consistently demonstrating a great first touch.
  • - An exceptional play-maker, who plays quickly and connects a large majority of my passes that others can't, being short, long or over the top.
  • - Displays excellent vision and awareness and has a great sense of what is going on around me.
  • - A very skilled and creative player, who consistently thrives to take players on and create scoring opportunities.
  • - Has a deadly striking ability and routinely scores from great distances.
  • - Has a strong defensive presence with a high intensity and hardworking mentality.
  • - Very versatile as a CM, I excel playing box to box (#8), but can also play as a defensive pivot (#6) or in an attacking role (#10).
  • - Great leadership skills to promote team cohesion and a winning culture.
  • - A very respectful, reliable and hard working teammate who loves to compete at the highest standards.

Academics:

  • Currently my education includes attending St.Patrick's High School in Sarnia, On.
  • I proudly maintain my 4.0 GPA and was named to the Honours Society in my freshman year.
  • My educational strength and passion lies in math and science. Both of my parents are physical therapists, which has inspired me to pursue a career in the medical field. Whatever career I choose, I intend to lead my team in GPA and look forward to supporting my teammates in their academic ambitions.
  • I'm interested in attending a college that will challenge and inspire me to learn and contribute on the soccer field as well as thrive in the classroom.

Next Level:

  • My dream is to play at the next level to thrive on the competition and become a better player and teammate.
  • I want to play for a college team, that is driven, motivated and dedicated to accomplishing great things together and winning championships.
  • Ever since I was little, I'm aspired to continue to learn and play soccer beyond college and hopefully play professional one day.
  • Some of my qualities include being very competitive, having an internal desire to be great, and my passion for the game drives me to succeed.
  • My goal is to become a great role model to all my peers and make my parents and family proud.
  • I look forward to bringing my athletic and academic strengths to my future college soccer team and making an immediate impact!
