Since I was three years old, I have been playing soccer. When I was in fourth grade, I began to play club soccer. This sport is a huge part of my life since I was a young girl. It is what encourages me to go on early morning runs, to go to the field and run sprints, and to push myself harder and harder at practice sessions. It also inspires me to make sure I'm a leader on and off the field for my teammates and my younger sister, who also plays soccer. As a center defender, I am motivated and determined to make sure that everyone will succeed and get along as a team, so we can win games and have fun. When it is a time to be serious, I convert my full attention to the sport, the team, and to the coaches that will help me grow as a player. One of my main goals is to make sure I am pushing myself to my breaking point to grow as a player and athlete. This sport helps me achieve my goals everyday. As a little girl, I have always wanted to play in college at a top competitive level. This will allow me to expand my knowledge of the sport and my defensive position.
