I am a very resolute person. I have been playing soccer for about thirteen years, and within three of these years I have had some major setbacks. In seventh grade I broke my collarbone. Halfway through my eighth grade year I broke my nose and had a slight concussion. Then I had a contusion in my foot my ninth grade year. All of these injuries have taught me to push forward, not complain, and get back on my feet. Even though I experienced all of these injuries and was not looked at very highly from my coaches, I still never gave up and still continue to work hard and show that within all of my decisions on and off the field. The things a coach can teach players are mainly skills, but what they can't teach is the passion and drive for the game. The skills I show on the field come from that desire to succeed.
