I started with soccer at about the age of 8 years old with NEO FC. I first was on the in house coed teams. I was discovered by a coach that was establishing a boy travel team for NEO. He felt that I was aggressive enough to play on a boy team. I was a center defender for the team for about three years. I enjoyed playing on the boy team since I could be more aggressive while defending the goal. Then the age requirements were changed and I could no longer play on the NEO boy team. I found a girl team with Fox Chase Armada. It was a bit of an adjustment because I had to learn to play with the girls at first and I also was moved to a center midfield position. The coach selected me because I am a diversified player, I can play any position. This year, sophomore year, my high school coach made some changes to our formation and put me in as a striker.
I am a very fast and aggressive player. I can run very quickly down the field and easily cover the midfield or quickly move the ball and take shots. With both my fast and aggressive moves, I can quickly move in to defend the middle of the field or the goal. I wish to combine my love of sports with my educational aspirations by majoring in Sports Management.
