Isabel Cacho '20 Recruiting Profile

As captain of Puerto Rico's u-17 National Team, I have had the experience of playing the sport I love most all around America. Representing my country on an international level, has taught me life lessons that I will never forget. Playing in CONCACAF U-17 Championship in Nicaragua, versus some of the best teams from around the world, has helped me grow as a player. During the 90 minutes of a typical soccer game, I always leave everything I got on the field. As a team leader,  I always have a "never give up" attitude and in order to be successful, I will work as hard as I need to. 

As a forward or outside midfielder, I always imagine plays in my head and precisely execute them on the field, leading to attacking or dangerous plays when the opponent least expects it. With all of this said, I would love to keep playing soccer on a competitive college level. As a player with experience, I would bring to the table skills that would benefit teams into scoring goals. Apart from soccer, I am not only on the top of my class with a 4.0 GPA, but I am also the former Treasurer of my High School's National Honor Society.
