Hi,
My name is Amir Gabrielle Goolsby. I am currently a sophomore at Mauldin High School in Mauldin, SC. I‘ve only been playing soccer for about a year. I love the sport and learning good sportsmanship. I have sustained a 4.0 GPA. I’m currently in history honors and on the A/B Honor Roll. I love to travel and learn about other cultures and take great pride in my education. Maintaining excellent grades while playing soccer keeps me focused.
I am very dedicated to continuing playing soccer anywhere that suits the team as well as myself the best. I’m a dedicated player on the field and always ready to use constructive criticism to help me improve. I wish to find and achieve my goal in the game of soccer; to become an excellent player while staying physically fit.
What makes me different from other recruits is that I am dedicated, dependable, and can adapt to the field. I can play defense or any midfield position to best suit the team and help my teammates. For example, I was only comfortable playing right defensively, however, I had the chance to play different positions in defense and even move to midfield positions to help out my other teammates. While transitioning to other positions on the field has helped me figure out that I can easily adapt to my environment. Also, I can take advice not only from my coaches but my teammates as well. I look forward to expanding my knowledge and experience in soccer on the field.
