One of my moms favorite stories to tell about me is the one where I was about 14 months old and we passed a bin of soccer balls in Walmart, she says I got so excited and pointed and screamed soccer ball. She says it stopped her in her tracks because it was the clearest two words I had ever spoken AND she was not sure where I had ever seen a soccer ball. So she bought me one and from then on soccer has always been a part of my life. My mom says I tried to sleep with my ball as a baby, I definitely did sleep with it from about six to eight years old. Sometimes before big games I still do.
I started playing at 4. At 8 I started travel soccer as a Stryker, then played my way though all the positions until I finally ended up in the goal as a desperation move in a tournament when I was 13. There was no turning back. I love being a goalie, I was born to do it. I bring passion and dedication every time I step on the field. I am also 5'11 so wing span is a bonus. I have to work very hard at school, but I still challenge myself with Honors and AP classes. My #1 goal has always been to play college soccer and try to make a career out of the sport I love.
