I would love to be a part of a college soccer team and play at the next level. I would be a good candidate for your team because I am hard-working, coachable, and a team player. Something that makes me different from other recruits is that I made All-Conference and All-State second team as a Freshman. I was the only one to make an All-State team as a Freshman and worked hard to try to make the first team the next year. I will always work hard and do my best to strive to the goals I set for myself.
I have had to overcome a lot of adversities and achievements throughout my career that made me a stronger player and overall person. My club team has made it to Midwest Regionals every year and we have had a lot of success at the state and regional level. One difficulty was falling short of making it to Nationals with a penalty kick loss in the semi-finals in 2019 and then another penalty kick loss and forfeit of the other team due to weather events to get into the semi-finals this year (2021). Throughout those difficult losses I have grown as a player and person because of the mental toughness I had to have to go to practice the next day and work harder to make myself better for the next opportunity, as well as, encourage my teammates to keep going and be the best they can be. I also had a meniscus injury that made me grow as a soccer player and overall person. I learned that being on the field is a privilege and I make it my goal and priority to better myself and my team every time I set step foot on the field or pitch.
