I would be a excellent candidate for your women’s soccer program for many reasons. I have been playing soccer since I was 3 years old. I play soccer for my school and my local travel soccer club. I also play basketball for my school. I have always been most athlete on any of the teams I have been on. I always work hard and willing to go the distance. I never give up, you will never see my head drop. I have great leadership, and I always encourage my teammates. My freshmen year of basketball I was not a starting player;however, my coach said that my leadership ability was very important and made me a critical teammate even if I wasn’t on the court. Even though I was not the star player, my leadership ability made me the most important player to him. Growing up I played many positions on the soccer field, midfield seems the most natural for me. I see the field, I connect passes, I can play long balls, and through balls. I’m good at communicating on the field, I make sure to know who’s around me. I’m very aggressive and not afraid to take a hit, I come to the ball I’m not scared to have the ball at my feet. I will not try to hide behind a defender, you will always see me encouraging my team on and off the field. My shots are hard and driven to the goal. I am very coachable. I always want to know how I can improve. I have a very strong leg, and a stout body type. Since I am a midfielder I make sure to stay in shape. As a midfielder it is important to understand the game of soccer.
