Growing up in life I've always loved sports. I started playing soccer primarily for my dad so we could bond over something. Sooner than later, I fell in love with the sport. I've become dedicated to it throughout the past 6 years of my life when I started playing for my junior high soccer program at Bonham. When I was a sophomore in high school, we had a game against Melissa and I was scouted by a club coach. D'feeters was the first club team I was on then a year later I joined Renegades. I view soccer as a privilege and always use every training session as an opportunity for growth. Soccer has contributed a lot to my character as I have developed leadership skills, mental toughness, grit, and lastly, self discipline. Because of these characteristics I have developed, it also has shown a lot in my academics. I take pride in the grades I make and truly believe that academics should be a main priority for a student-athlete. With that being said, soccer has made me a better version of myself and I am truly grateful for the skills and training I have acquired in the past years.
