I have been an avid sports player my entire life. My parents knew I was destined for greatness with sports when at four years old, I was the only player on the basketball court that knew to dribble the ball in lieu of carrying it and running. I continued to play basketball and soccer through the 5th grade and in the 6th grade, I switched to only soccer. I joined the Dallas Texans club team and began perfecting my skills while dreaming to one day play not only collegiate but pro as well. In the 8th grade, I was voted Female Athlete of the Year 2011. The following year as a freshman, I made the Varsity Soccer team at Hebron High School. Since then, I've continued to work very hard towards being a valuable team player and growing my skill set. I am a fast learner, very coachable and want to be on the best competitive collegiate team out there.
You would find me hard working, competitive, very strong, focused and passionate about life and sports. My intense desire is to continue playing the game I love while achieving my academic goals. I have never been a follower but a leader with purpose and a good role model. My character is sound and of proper moral conduct. I strive to do what is right and best for me to attain my goals in life. I am seeking both the challenge and joy in soccer while working toward a health related degree.
Currently, I am a student, play varsity and club soccer, have a part time job, and volunteer with church related activities. Meaning, I am very focused and would continue this model toward being a valuable asset to any college team that selects me. This year has been a very exciting year for our varsity team. We won district and then went on to win the 5A UIL State Championship Soccer tournament. Additionally, our team the Hebron Hawks was just voted as the # 3 team in the nation. This has been a memorable year and one that we hope to repeat next year. Every game we played, we strived to work harder as a team and our confidence married with excellent strategy won the championship.
I wish to thank you for your time reviewing my profile and your consideration.
