Hi, my name is Hazitri Acevedo and I would like to introduce myself. I'm 17 years old and I'm junior at Bowie HS, I play for the varsity soccer for Bowie HS. When I was in 8th grade I would practice with the girls varsity. When I was a freshmen I was officially part of the team and a starter. My sophomore year I was chosen to be captain of the team. It was a honor for me to represent the team, and motivate them and learn from each other.
I started to play soccer when I was 6 years old. I joined the team Sauk Prairie du Sac in Wisconsin. It was my first time joining a soccer club and I fell in love with it. Ever since I played soccer now I am committed to it all the time.
I am a very good student and take my education serious, I plan to studie law enforcement. When I graduate from HS I plan to graduate with honors. Then join a collage a graduate with a degree and masters and have a healthy job.
I am a very dedicated, and responsible to soccer. I'm always ready to learn new things. Im always trying to motivate my teams, help them out on what I can. Its not always about winning the game, it's about team work and talking each other.
For me its not about the number on your Jersey, but the amount of the hours in a day that you have to devote to the game to be the best. Also to be pushing through when your body says no, but your heart says yes. As for myself even on the worst days thers nothing else to do but to push harder.
Thank you for having time to read my personal statement, it's been my pleasure.
Hazitri
