Hi, my name is Ayvah Angala from Frisco, Texas and I currently play the Fullback and Defensive Midfielder position for the Dallas Texans 05G ECNL club team and primarily the Defensive Midfielder position for the Independence High School Varsity Girls Soccer team (Class of 2023). I am a very good student and take my education very seriously and I always strive for a 100% in my school work and for a 4.0 GPA every quarter. Ever since watching college soccer and the WNT as a youth I've always dreamed of playing soccer at the collegiate level. I am looking for a college that is a "good fit" for me that will not only utilize my soccer skills but one that will provide the best educational opportunity. I am interested in the Computer Science field.
I am an impact player that make plays and the right plays wherever I am on the pitch. I'm a player with a good 1st touch who makes quick decisions to get the ball off my feet quickly. Unique soccer skills I possess is that I am very technical and my coaches throughout my 13 year soccer career have always complimented me with having “fast feet", a very high soccer IQ, accurate passer, and a strong ball winner/tackler. I am also a versatile soccer player and able to play all the soccer positions. I take a lot of pride in my defense abilities which is why I love to play the Defensive Midfielder and Fullback positions. I consider myself a very good defender and love to make tackles no matter who the opponent is to win the ball back for the attack and love breaking up the flow of play when the opposition has possession of the ball.
On offense I have very good vision where I either make the right plays to score or make the right plays for my teammates to score which is why I am now a '20-'21 & '21-'22 All-Frisco ISD District Honoree. Please also see my performance evaluation report from a college coach at the last college showcase I attended in the events section of my profile.
Aside from soccer I am also a member of my High School's National Honor Society, Student Council, and National Championship winning Drill/Dance team (IHS Royals).
I have a very strong work ethic and proof of this is my training schedule . Monday through Friday I begin drill/dance practice at 6am then at 8am I begin soccer training or strength & conditioning training for my High School's Soccer team. I also practice with my ECNL club team 2-3 times a week on weeknights. I do all this while maintaining a 4.0 GPA.
In my free time I like to read books, dance, watch movies, volunteer for my church's youth ministry, volunteer for community service, and spend time with my family of 6. I am the eldest of 4 children (1 sister & 2 brothers).
Thank you very much for taking the time to get to know me!
