My name is Tazia McGee and I am currently a junior attending New Caney High School. I started playing soccer in the 6th grade after attending a cousin's soccer practice. I had the opportunity to exercise with the team and immediately fell in love with the sport and signed up with the local soccer league team that year. My primary position is a center defender; however, this school year I have played other positions as Goalie, Midfielder, and Striker Forward. I am a fast learner who is ready and willing to accept any challenge to be faster, stronger, and more skillful in the sport to be more competitive and dominate at the next level. I have played one year as a member of the Houston Dynamo Dash Soccer League during my 9th grade year and have since been playing for my high school varsity team as a starter for the past two years. My overall athletic goal is to play soccer at a Division I school. I may be smaller in stature, but I am extremely competitive on the field and can be challenging to any competitor I come in contact with. I know I can be value added to any collegiate soccer program I'm a part of, ultimately striving to achieve my overall goals as a Division I player. I'm a quick thinker who is able to assess the soccer field and make quick decisions regardless of the position I have been selected to play. I am a player who is driven, determined, and dedicated to supporting my team to win. My future academic goal is to become a Psychiatrist.
