Daisha Kirkpatrick '22 Recruiting Profile

 I've always stood out on the field height and racewise and I felt that all eyes were on me, which really took a toll on my confidence because I felt that everything I did had to be perfect. I've now faced the reality that I'll never be perfect but that doesn't mean I can't work to be perfect. What makes me different from other recruits is I'm willing to fail 100 times before I succeed because I know that my present hardships will be nothing compared to the success that awaits me in the future. My main goal for college is to major in aerospace so that I'm able to become a pilot in the near future. Academically, I like to challenge myself and take every opportunity that comes my way because I know that there are people who wish they had the same opportunities.
