My name is Malia Lux, class of 2025. I have been playing soccer for eight and a half years. Because of this experience, I am incredibly familiar with the ball. I have an intense love for the game and wish to continue my playing career into college. I usually play forward, but can also play attacking midfielder. I am diligent and driven, both in school and in soccer. I am always trying to improve myself as a person and on the field. I don’t know what major I would like to pursue in college, but I would like a degree that could help me continue my varied interests
I am willing to go anywhere in the United States to play, as I have family in all different parts of the country; I feel that I would be supported by my team and family even in a different state. I would either like to play DI, DII, or DIII.
I am from rural south-central Texas. Since there isn’t a women’s soccer team at my school, to pursue my love of the game, I found a club team, Corinthians FC, where I practice every day in addition to games and tournaments. Being in this club team has led to my development as both a player and a teammate, despite not having the opportunity to play for my school. In addition to my club sport, I am taking 5 AP classes and have taken 12 honors classes, all the while maintaining a 4.0 throughout high school.
