Haidlyn Hawkins '25 Recruiting Profile

From working with kids at church to bearing down in the classroom to competing on the court/field, you will not find a person that works harder with more heart than me.  As a freshman, I picked soccer back up, started on the varsity team and received district Honorable Mention.  During my sophomore year, I took over keeper position because we had no one on the team and with my desire to win, my coach thought I was athletic enough to play the position.  As I worked hard to learn the position all season, I was named All District Keeper OTY, 1st team All-District, Area Gold Team Keeper OTY in a district with four top 25 teams.  I continued to work hard in the classroom, NHS member, as well as with my club team and was again named All District GK OTY and All State GK.  My determination and ability to adapt to situations is an untaught skill I’ll bring to the team and into my future career outside of school.    

In college I plan to get a degree in kinesiology where I plan to become a physical therapist.
