BAXTER WIRTH '21 Recruiting Profile

    My name is Baxter Wirth and I'm a point guard from Hardin-Jefferson High School in the graduating class of 2021. I currently have an unweighted GPA of 3.9; while challenging myself in multiple Pre-Ap/Honor classes. Growing up, my parents taught me to take my schoolwork very seriously, and that has motivated me to continue to do so on my own. I believe the greatest quality I bring to any situation is my leadership skills, and this is found most evident in practices and games. My first priority is to be on the same page with my teammates and coaches, especially through the most difficult of times. I will work as hard as possible to develop my skills to succeed at the next level. After working towards a Bachelor's degree in finance; I would love the opportunity to play beyond college domestically or foreign. I am starting my sophomore year at Hardin-Jefferson High School, a school with prestigious basketball history sending multiple kids on to play in college as well as winning multiple state championships, and I plan to be coming off the bench competing for playing time with the two senior guards this year. During my life I have moved 9 times and through those moves I have learned to play under many different systems so I believe I can fit into any college system smoothly. On top of all those moves I have been exposed to all parts of the country, and have no specific region I must live in.
