I am a Senior at Stephenville HS and have been playing soccer since the age of five. Young I had always loved playing the sport and when the time came to switch teams I found myself still enjoyed with the sport. I played with the varsity soccer team in High School and was Offensive Freshman of the year. Playing with girls of very different ages was definitely different, but it was a good different. I learned there that I need to have a voice with everyone.
I began my ODP journey in 2018 when I made the player pool and I was an alternate. This is when I realized that I would have to work a lot harder to be where I want to stand. In 2019 I became a player on the team. Playing with the team took more concentration and communication than I had expected, this helped me increase my game IQ and my communication with the other girls. In 2020 I am still on the team and I created a bond with everyone and took the things I learned and put them into play.
Playing Club Ball has always been what I enjoy most, switching to a better team and leaving my old team has never been a problem, as long as I am able to growing and thrive with my teammates I am able to be content with my change. I am always down to do extra training alone or in groups as long as I am able to become a better player for my team, and academics have never been too big of a problem due to putting my grades over sports.
I run track in the summer and in High School. I will normally compete in the 100, 200, and the 4x400 or 4X100. I take track very serious as well for it is also a competitive sport in the end. In High School I tend to enjoy myself though until my race comes up and compete against myself. In the summer I take it very serious and compete to do better than what I ran last time as well.
