Kalea Willis '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello,

My name is Kalea Willis.  I am currently a high school junior (Class of 2022) defender for the Dallas Texans U17 ECNL under Coach Kioumars Rezaie.  The past few years I have been playing center back but this year, I am transitioning to the left back position.  The position gives me the opportunity to push forward more and the fun part is taking more shots on goal!

I am interested in Business degree (Economics, Marketing, Business Administration).   I also have a passion for learning languages and I am currently teaching myself Korean. So International degree options also interest me as a minor.  I am currently a 4.0 student at High Point Academy in Ft Worth and I am taking my 2nd and 3rd college courses for dual credit. 

In terms of soccer, I bring competitiveness and leadership through encouragement. Team trust and unity  come through working together and not through negativity.

During COVID, I have been continuing to train via strength and conditioning sessions, weekly personal skills sessions with a former D1 assistant coach along with training sessions with my club team.
