I would love to pursue playing soccer in college; I'm currently a sophomore and have been playing throughout high school which is something I love doing. Being a goalkeeper builds you physically and sort of emotionally. You gain strength and agility, but you also learn leadership because the goalie is a huge part of a team. I would say I'm different from others because many people set goals and don't follow through, but when I set goals for myself, I try to the best of my ability to achieve those goals. I'm a hard worker, and once I'm committed to something, I give it my all. Now with academics, I am an A student, and if I have trouble with something in class, I self advocate and get help for myself. I may not be the tallest, fastest or most amazing goalie ever, but I am a good candidate for some teams because I am committed and hardworking.
