I have been playing soccer since I was four years old. I love it. I started at the U4 level and have played all but one year since.
I started playing and training with Quan Phan/HP Elite when I was seven and decided at 8 years old that I wanted to play travel soccer and have the opportunity to train three or four days a week. With HP Elite I traveled to Spain and played matches in Spain and France. Soccer gave me a wonderful opportunity to see new places and cultures.
I played for Braddock Road Youth Club and Larry Best for many seasons. During that time I played center back, outside back and defensive mid. I played on both the ENCL team and the NPL team. During my U15 season we won NPL State Cup and traveled to Colorado to compete in Nationals.
I played a season at Vienna Youth Soccer ENCL-RL team. I wanted to try a new position with this team and transitioned to attacking mid. It was a big but wonderful change. I love this new spot on the field. After one season and large coaching changes, I left VYS and have joined Great Falls- Reston ENCL -RL. With the GFR team I competed at NPL Nationals in Colorado and Super-Y summer league, where we had an undefeated season and won first place in the Mid-Atlantic conference.
I have been a varsity starter for Lake Braddock for two seasons. My freshman year I was a starting center back in a three back system. I earned Honorable Mention for the district. My sophomore year I was a starter in outside back before I tore two ligaments in my ankle. I was out for several of the district matches and was not eligible for post season consideration.
I have participated in ODP and was selected for the State ODP team in 2021.
I enjoy challenging myself with my classwork. I am taking several AP and a DE class.
I am involved with activities besides soccer at my high school. I am in the National Honor Society, Athletic Leadership Council and student government. I am an Ambassador for Morgan's Message. I participated in Varsity Cross Country my sophomore year and was selected for the district team. I participated in Varsity Winter Track my freshman and sophomore year. I was selected for the district team both years and advanced to the regional team my sophomore season.
I enjoy sharing my love of soccer with the youth in my community. I am a trainer for the Burke Athletic Club recreation program. Two days a week I assist the coaches with teaching soccer skills to U4-U5 and U7-U8 players. I also private train a U9 travel player in my neighborhood.
I am a volunteer kitten foster for Animal Welfare League of Arlington.
I hope you enjoyed learning a little bit about me. Thanks for reading!
