Ava Puskas '23 Recruiting Profile

I am currently a rising senior enrolled in Honors classes at Grassfield High School in Chesapeake, Va.  I have been playing club soccer an age level up at Beach FC.
I aspire not only to be a Neonatal Nurse, but also to experience and play soccer at the college level.  I have been playing for my high school since I was in 8th grade, and was given the starter Keeper position on the JV team.  I was then selected for the Varsity team as a freshman, and had the starter position, but do to Covid, we only played  our preseason scrimmage, when the 2020 season  come to a halt.  This past year, I started majority of the games for my high school. I have also made the Virginia State ODP pool, four years in a row. In 2019, I was selected for the International team trip where I  traveled to Germany and the Netherlands to compete with some of their youth teams. I am highly competitive, been told I am very coachable, and confident in the way I play. I am a leader to my teams as well.
