Soccer isn’t only about your skill with a ball, it's about strategy; being able to read the field, knowing what your opponent is going to do next, and figuring out the best decision to make. These are all characteristics I try to emphasize while on the field. My name is Malia Christy and understanding how the game works is one of the things I love about playing soccer. Growing up on different continents and playing in different countries has given me a fantastic experience in seeing different methods and tactics. Seeing all these different approaches fuels my curiosity and passion for the game. I want a college where I can pair my desire to study Engineering with my joy of playing soccer.
