Hello!
My name is McKenzie Shea and I’m a Junior at Cosby High School. I am a dedicated soccer player and currently play for the Elite U17 Richmond Kickers Team. I’m also a starting varsity player on the Cosby High School Girls Soccer Team and we just finished an exciting season. We ended 17-0; I had a great season and was also named for Second Team All Region. I love playing soccer for the Kickers & Cosby! Regardless of whether I’m actively in season or not, I schedule time for myself each day to ensure I stay in shape, practice footwork and make sure I’m prepared mentally for the game. I’m also very focused on my academics. I currently have a 4.3 GPA on a 5.0 scale. I’m always looking to push myself academically. In addition to my normal academics, I am enrolled into a Physical & Occupational Therapy Certificate program at the Career and Technical Center. I am also will be taking College level courses and A.P courses. I am ultimately looking to get a degree in the Sports Medicine arena. On the soccer front I normally play a Left Attacking Mid-Fielder, but also enjoy playing an attacking center mid-fielder. I am a technical player with a strong left foot, but I can pass and shoot well with my right foot. I love taking players one on one and it is my goal every game to be a factor in the game and push hard to benefit my team. I am very passionate about soccer and strive to get better every day. Outside of school and soccer I love spending time hanging out with my family and friends. Reading is probably my favorite hobby and there is nothing I like more than relaxing with a book when I can.
