Ana Gimelli Hemme '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello perspective coaches, my name is Ana Gimelli Hemme. My friends and my teammates call me Fin. I am a goalkeeper in Seattle Washington. I am a hard worker, persistent, and I love a challenge. I have played soccer on and off my entire life. I have played eight years total. In my eight years I have faced many challenges. I started playing select soccer for the first time in 2021. I did not have the same experiences that my other teammates had. I did not let that stop me. I put in work outside of team training. I went to extra goalkeeper trainings held by my club and I also found trainings with Casey Murphy, a goalkeeper from the North Carolina Courage. I am the type of person who is not scared of a challenge, it pushes me to grow, not only as a soccer player but as a person. I used to be a player who was very in my head and would get over whelmed very easily, but I have put in a lot of work to build confidence in myself.  I realized that my belief in myself cannot come from the praise of others, but from the strength within. I would like to take my newfound strength and confidence and bring it to a college team. Thank you so much for looking into my profile and for considering me for your team.
