My name is Savvy Briceño, I am in the class of 2025, I play for Spokane Sounders 05/06 GA and attend Saint George’s high school. Soccer is my whole world. Currently, I start for both club and high school teams. I am the leading scorer on my high school team and in my freshman and sophomore year I was given 1st team all league and have started on varsity since 8th grade. I am also a dual sport athlete and compete in track and field for my high school. We were back to back state champs my freshmen and sophomore year and I run the 400m, 4x1, 4x2, and 4x4. I am smart with my technical abilities (knowing when to dribble or distribute, I know how to use my speed to my advantage, and I know how to use my strength to win smart tackles. However, my top quality is my passion for the game. Every day I work hard to master my craft while trying to play at the highest level. This includes technical training, weight lifting and running. As far as academics go, I dedicate myself 100% in all my classes and currently have a 4.0 GPA. The goals I have for myself are to play soccer at the highest level at a school that fits me with both athletics and academics. Whatever collegiate team I end up on, I will bring an attitude and effort that will lift up my teammates. I want to play for the team and help us become the best we can be.
