Abbie Sicilia '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Abbie Sicilia, class of 2023. I play my club soccer with Spokane Sounders, and for West Valley High School in Spokane, Washington. So far this season my team has won the NW champions league and qualified for the Far West Regionals. Personally, I have been awarded First Team all-league as a defender in my freshman year and been selected to play internationally with the West Region ODP in October of 2020. We will be playing in the GA Northwest league this spring  

I live in Spokane, Washington with my family of four. My mother is always supporting and helping my soccer activities, encouraging me to be a better soccer player and person. My father is always pushing me to be a better athlete and participates in my fitness training. I have a big brother who attends Washington State University. He and I are very close, and I enjoy spending my free time skateboarding or watching anime with him.

I just completed by the first part of my sophomore year and I am ranked #1 out of 238 students with a 4.0 GPA.   I not only maintained a 4.0 GPA but I also was president of my Freshman class and All-Academic for Varsity soccer and basketball. I am also part of class ASB. I have been inducted into the National Honor Society this past November  

I want to be able to play at the highest level and play against other talented athletes. I am very dedicated to making this happen. I train on my own and have team practices three times a week.  I am a well-rounded athlete who is driven to succeed at the highest level possible.
