My name is Shelby Busch I am currently a Junior at Burlington High School. I have been playing soccer for about 11 years and I have learned so much in that time. Soccer is an escape for me. It allows me to get my mind off of other things and focus on somthing that I love. This year has been especially competitive and challenging for me. My club team, Polonia 05' Midwest Regional League out of Frankiln, Wisconsin, has had a really exciting and rewarding season. We had an automatic spot in the state cup this year and did fairly well in our season, placing third, and in state league, first. I am very excited about being chosen for the 05 ODP Wisconsin Team. The winter workouts with the ODP team has helped improve my all around game. My goals for this year are to continue to grow my knowledge and vison of the game, as well as fine tuning my footskills. I had a great experience with highschool soccer my sophmore year and was awarded an all county honorable mention defender. I'm very excited for our current high school season to see how I can improve. I really enjoy the recruitment process and I am continuing to gain more knowledge about it. I can't wait to see what the rest of my soccer career brings.
