Hello, my name is Melanie Wallisch
I am now a Junior at Evansville High School. I am currently a two sport athlete playing soccer on school and local club teams, as well as basketball during the winter months. Soccer being my primary passion. As a student athlete, I believe knowledge is a strength that allows me to be successful in both the classroom and on the field. My competitive nature drives me to work hard, achieve, and improve each day while managing my time in the classroom, on the pitch and with my family and friends.
I am looking for a college that will challenge me academically and athletically. I plan to major in the medical field, more specifically as a Physician Assistant (PA). Soccer is my passion, but I know that a great education is necessary to help build a successful career.
Thus far the recruitment process has been a positive experience. Despite this COVID headache I have been fortunate enough to make a couple campus visits. My goal is to complete the recruitment process and make a college choice by the start of my senior year of high school (September 2021) so I can enjoy my senior year and focus on my soccer training for my future college soccer team.
