Dear Coaches,
My name is Maya Novaczyk and I am a dedicated and passionate soccer player who is eager to play at the college level. I have been playing soccer since I was five years old, and it has always been a central part of my life. As a player, I am determined, disciplined, and committed to improving my skills every day.
I am a versatile player, with the ability to play multiple positions on the field. I am equally comfortable playing defense, midfield, or forward. I pride myself on being a team player and always strive to support and encourage my teammates. On the field, I am a hard worker and never give up.
Off the field, I am equally dedicated to my academics. I have maintained a 3.9 GPA through my 1st year in high school and take pride in being an excellent student, I continue to register for honors and AP classes as well. I am also involved in extracurricular activities, including volunteer work in my community. I also have started a needs-based organization that supplies dental and other self-care items for Hondurans in Center America with the help of friends and family.
My ultimate goal is to continue playing soccer at the college level while pursuing a dual degree in Science/Business Administration. I believe that my determination, hard work, and commitment to the team make me an excellent candidate for your program. I would be honored to have the opportunity to discuss my potential contributions to your team. Our high school motto is "Give up the ME, for the WE" I love that and hope to show that on and off the field.
Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Sincerely, Maya Novaczyk
