I first stepped on the soccer field at the age of 5 and right away I connected with the sport. I continued to play club soccer throughout elementary middle, and high school, attending as many trainings and camps as I could. These years of soccer experiences made me realize that I want to play at a collegiate level.
On the field, I am a team leader, have quick thinking, know when to use my skills, and never give up. I have strong legs and quick and fast touches on the ball. My primary position is an outside midfielder, with my second position being forward. However, I am willing to play anywhere that I am needed. I always put forth my best effort whether it be at home practicing, at a tryout, playing a scrimmage, or in games. My determination is what keeps me going and I always tend to spread positivity throughout the field.
I have participated in the Wisconsin Olympic Development Program since 2018. In 2021 and 2022, I have made it to the final team to play in the sub-regional tournaments (in Indiana and Ohio). I was selected to participate in the ODP ID regional camp in Rockford IL both years. In 2019, I attended a soccer camp at UW Madison, where I won best overall out of my age level. Over the years I have attended multiple ID Camps at UW-Greenbay, Marquette ,etc. I also have traveled to Spain to play on the Wisconsin International Soccer Team in the summer of 2022. This fall season from 2022-23, I joined North Shore United Soccer club, where we are playing it the Elite 64 league.
In school, I put in just as much commitment as I do on the soccer field. I finished 8th grade with a 4.0 GPA and I won the Outstanding Student award for my 8th-grade class. I have been on the honor roll throughout all 4 years in middle school and high honor roll both Freshman and Sophomore Years. I took 3 accelerated classes in my freshman year which included Geometry, Area Studies, and English. I ended freshman year with a 3.98 GPA. As a sophomore, I took 3 accelerated classes which included English 2, Chemistry, and Algebra 2. Currently, as a Junior, I am taking 4 college-level courses with a variety of other challenging courses.
Freshman year of High school soccer, our team won conference, sub-sectionals, and sectionals and we ended in second place at State. I finished my year with 20 goals and 10 assists.
Sophomore year of High school soccer, our team won regionals, and sub-sectionals, and was runner-up in sectional finals. I ended my year with 24 goals and 12 assists.
I am ready to take my soccer career to the next level. I have the mindset and the skills to take me there as well. I believe that with continued hard work I am an asset to any college that is looking for a determined soccer player.
