Soccer has been a prominent aspect of my life for around 10 years, and has molded me to be who I am today. My favorite thing about soccer is that it has taught me to be a leader, while encouraging others and making everyone around me better. Whether it be on the field, in the weight room, or even just in class soccer has taught me to push myself to my limits and strive to achieve my goals and even push past them. I am a very competitive person when I go on the field. I play to win and strive to make myself and my teammates better. Being in the back line has really given me the opportunity to be a strong leader, which is a position I embrace and thrive in. I am also the captain of my high school basketball team and am on the student council as well. Within my potential college I would love to not only be pushed athletically, but also academically. I currently have a 4.0 GPA in a biomedical STEM program and am taking all the science and math courses that I can to prepare myself for a science major as a student-athlete.
