hi, my name is Ryley Meenk. I have been playing soccer since I was about 4. I knew I loved this sport when my team started to become more competitive. I love working hard and wanting to achieve something, whether that be a championship, a medal, or an opportunity. I think what makes me different from other players is the way I view the field. I see the whole field and before I receive the ball i’m thinking of 2 or 3 ways I could get rid of this ball and make a play happen. I’ve learned a lot about myself through this sport. I’ve learned to stay humble. I’ve learned that as much work as you put in is how much you are going to get out of it or show it. I put in as just as much work outside of practice and games, like extra training and gym work. and finally, i’ve learned that bonding with your team outside of the game builds your chemistry and flow of play. This season we competed in the GA league. We won the mid-america group! Outside of club I played for my highschool in the classic 8 conference. I won all conference 1st team, and defensive MVP along with being the leading defensive scorer.
