I started playing soccer when I was 4 years old, and though you don't really retain much from that age, I knew I had found a sport I loved. I'm currently living in Cheyenne, Wyoming and playing soccer for East High School. In the fall I play for Arsenal in Fort Collins, Colorado. But you're not reading this to get tons of background info about me.
I believe my goals when entering the next level are mainly to grow as a person, on and off the pitch, really make an impact when given the opportunity, and help those around me develop into better people and players. As a person I'm fairly sociable and enjoy learning about and befriending new people, trying new and different hobbies that others are interested in, and really just building strong, long-lasting relationships with those around me.
I think academically I've always been fortunate with my home situation so I can really buckle down and keep good grades. Even with the occasional challenges (like long road trips) I manage to keep up with my studies.
Though I may not be the fastest (darn close though) or the tallest on the pitch, I always play with heart and grit. I think I'm a good candidate to play at the next level because I give it my all every time I step on the field. Whether that's for training or a match, I try to always bring a high level of intensity. I think holding myself to that standard has made me a better player and has helped me lead by example. I love soccer, whether that's cheering on our JV team from the bench, or sprinting back to slide tackle a break away before she gets a shot off.
