Heta Mody '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Heta Mody, and like others, I have loved to swim since I was only a few months old and have been swimming since I was 2. However, unlike others, I take this passion to another level. When I was forced to take a 3 year break from swim, I was devastated, but still swam in every body of water I could find. When I finally got back in the pool during the summer going into 10th grade, I worked tirelessly and cut down five seconds off my time in less than a month of training. I have always loved the water, and love going to the beach to surf and aquariums. Throughout my life, swimming has always been something I have never waivered on.  I am a coachable athlete, but also keep up with my grades and rigorous classes. I have great interest in studying something in the marine biology field, mainly because I am deeply attracted to the water and want to learn about it and be part of it, hence my lifelong passion for swimming. Considering this, I know swimming competitively at the college level is the right next step I want to take in my life. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me.
